Jack, we're going to be blunt:
Kevin McCarthy's House Majority is planning to force some of the most heartless, destructive cuts to social spending in a generation.
According to reports, the House GOP is prepared to threaten the nation with catastrophic debt default in order to extract cuts not only to Social Security and Medicare, but also to programs that benefit our children, our National Parks, and even our veterans.
It's despicable. But at the end of the day, we can either stand by and call this a tragedy, or we can STEP UP and call it an opportunity.
Our first fundraising goal of 2023 is set at $25,000. Let's obliterate that goal and show the GOP that their heartlessness will not go unanswered.
