Our fight for affordable health care is more important than ever, team —

Deborah firmly believes that no one should ever have to decide between life-saving care and paying their household bills. That’s why she’s been working around the clock to deliver results to those who face this devastating choice every day. Take a look at some of the health care-related progress made possible by Deborah’s leadership — in the last few months alone, she:

- Co-sponsored the Inflation Reduction Act, which has now capped insulin $35 per month for North Carolinians on Medicare
- Secured over $26 million for community projects in Wake County, some of which will focus on investing in affordable health care, especially mental health
- Introduced the Influenza Act to address this year’s flu season by strengthening the country’s flu infrastructure

We’ve made meaningful strides towards accessible health care because of leaders like Deborah who make our health their priority in their work. More than ever, it’s critical that she has the resources she needs to continue pushing for accessible health care for all.

When it comes to the health of our community, we can’t afford to spare any effort towards much-needed progress. So if you can, please chip in to our campaign to uplift Deborah’s critical work.
