Last month, we sent out our 2023 Priorities Survey so you could let us know what issues were most important to you!
We’ve had the chance to review your responses, so we’re following up to share the results. The top three most important issues were:
- Voting rights, with nearly 79% of respondents selecting it as a top issue.
- Gun violence, with 76% of respondents selecting it as a top issue.
- Healthcare, with 70% of respondents selecting it as a top issue.

It’s clear that the protection of our voting rights and the safety and health of our communities are of the utmost importance to this grassroots team. We’ve passed this information along to Congressman Bishop, and he has committed to redoubling his efforts on these issues.
In the last Congress, Congressman Bishop advocated for the passage of the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, supported bipartisan legislation to lower gun violence in our communities, and secured millions of dollars to invest in healthcare resources.
