Remember when the GOP said they would tackle rising costs? Tame inflation? Make life a little easier for working Americans? Well, after just 3 days in the majority, House Republicans have made their priorities clear – and it’s none of the above.
Today, Republicans in the House voted overwhelmingly to further restrict a woman’s access to reproductive care. As if the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade wasn’t destructive enough, the House GOP has decided to double down on efforts that put women’s lives at risk. We can’t let this stand.
I want to make one thing clear: this is an extremely dangerous bill. It’s designed to scare medical professionals into ignoring the needs of women. It harms American families.
If this is what House Republicans are doing just days into the majority, I don’t even want to think about what else they’ve got in store for 2023 or what they’ll do if they take control of the Senate in 2024. But we must. You sent me to Washington to have your back, so I’m asking:
Will you chip in to help us take back the House, protect our razor thin Senate majority, and fight back against Republicans’ extreme agenda?
