John,

Elections matter. The people we elect to public office at all levels of government are making important decisions every day that impact our lives and the health of our environment and communities. Most Washingtonians are tuned into who might be in the running for President, but 2020 is also a year for many local and state elections that are often overlooked.

Soon after Washington’s Presidential Primary, candidate filing week for state and local offices begins on May 11th. Are you thinking about running for office in 2020? Check out what positions might be up in your area here.

If there is a position you want to run for this year, now is the time to start planning and make sure you have campaign resources and the support you need to run and win in your community!

Share this Facebook post with your networks to make sure anyone thinking about running for office has all the information they need.
