Hi John,
It’s finally 2023, and instead of waiting around to see what fresh hell this year will bring, we’re busting into it like the Kool-Aid Man and we are ready to fight! And yes, before you ask- we are also writing this in the same pajamas we’ve had on for the last approximately 612 weeks, but we’re doing our best, okay?!
You can’t beat a dose of good news to wake you up, though! We’re celebrating the FDA’s regulatory change that will allow retail pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS to stock mifepristone with a prescription from a certified provider in a state where it’s legal and complying with all state abortion regulations. It’s not perfect, it could be better, who knows if pharmacies will actually comply, and it won’t change things in states where abortion is already illegal- but it’s better than nothing and a great first step.
