The League’s 40th Annual Scholarship Awards program online application is now OPEN!
The Scholarship Program is available to college-bound dependents of active, retired or reserve LAPPL members (Lieutenant rank and below only) who have held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the scholarship application submission date. A completed online application and official transcript (digital via Parchment or physical by mail) must be received at the League NO LATER than Friday, February 3, 2023, by 5 p.m.
Following the February application deadline, the essay portion will be administered at the League on a Saturday, March 11th, 2023. No alternative scheduling arrangements for the essay will be made, no exceptions. Essays will be judged on the applicant’s ability to analyze the essay question and appropriately respond to it in writing. Finalists will then be selected by the League Scholarship Committee and winners will be notified by phone Friday, May 12th, 2023.
