John,

Over the past year, we’ve experienced tremendous highs as well as tough times. In Congress, we were able to pass several historic bills that will help lower costs, increase access to health care, and tackle the climate crisis head-on. But we’ve also faced struggles with inflation, gas prices, political extremism, and devastating storms all across the country.

Now that 2023 has officially begun, it’s time to re-dedicate ourselves to making this year even better than the last. It won’t be easy with a divided Congress and a Republican Party that is not serious about governing – but I believe our commitment to each other as Texans and Americans will help us make 2023 our best year yet.

I’m committed to working for YOU and making sure your voice is heard in Washington. Together, we can accomplish anything. I look forward to many accomplishments in 2023.
