We're proud to announce the first honoree of our January 25th fundraiser ([link removed]) : Council Member Chi Ossé, our BYD Young Legislator of the Year!

At 24, Council Member Ossé is the City Council's youngest member, and is proof of the impact young people can have on policy.

Last year, Council Member Ossé became the youngest person to pass a bill in City Council history. That bill ([link removed]) codified the Narcan Behind Every Bar program, ensuring that lifesaving anti-overdose kits are available in nightlife venues across the city.

We're excited to celebrate Council Member Ossé and other honorees—who will be announced in the coming weeks—at our "We Are Young" fundraiser on January 25th ([link removed]) !
