SARW members, the Republican Party of Bexar County, and friends are going to Austin for the opening of the Texas Legislative Session

We will have a professional tour guide with us to give some history and information on the way to Austin and at the Capitol after the swearing-in ceremony. We will visit our local Representatives in their offices. This will be our opportunity to present in person the issues that we want to be brought up in this legislative session.

We will train you on how to use our resources and how to navigate your precinct. Please bring the welcome package you received, and your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Anyone can attend.

The 36th Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration will begin with the march kickoff at 10 a.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, 3501 Martin Luther King Drive, and ends at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa St., followed by the park celebration at Pittman-Sullivan Park.

The park celebration will include a main stage with multicultural performances, a health and wellness area, a youth area, food and merchandise vendors, and information booths.
