John, I wanted to check in with you, and give you some updates directly from DC.
I am in the airport and felt like this was one of those messages that couldn't wait so I figured I would write you a quick note and go into greater details later.
Senator Fetterman was sworn in yesterday, and this one felt different. I have been going to these ceremonies for years, and I'm telling you this one was different. What made it different is Senator Fetterman and his beautiful family. John Fetterman doesn't look like the rest of his colleagues in the Senate, for one he really is a giant when you stand next to him in person. He brought such energy and enthusiasm that many of his colleagues stopped in to say hello and welcome him. They were not just welcoming him, they were welcoming us as well. We at No Dem Left Behind were way ahead of the curve on John Fetterman, we endorsed him in September of 2021. He laid out to us his plans for rural America and we knew we had a winner in Fetterman.
In the next couple of months, we are hitting the road and have dozens of candidates we are vetting to potentially support. This is the time that we get to actually meet and have frank conversations with candidates and this is when the next Democratic superstar is coming to light. It is an exciting time, we are seeing in real-time how incompetent and out of touch with reality the GOP has become.
Under Speaker Pelosi's leadership this would never happen. First call of business: remove metal detectors from the capital? After what happened on January 6th?
While they can continue to do that, we will make our case to the American people and lay out our agenda and vision for this country, and let the voters decide.
