As we step into the new year, our message at TakeCharge has become more relevant than ever before. You will begin to see broader acknowledgement of our work and broader acceptance in the black community to our message.

Over the last 50-years, marriage rates have declined to historic lows without one national initiative to reverse the trend. At TakeCharge, we are taking on that challenge by launching a national campaign to restore the two-parent family in the black community and we are inviting leaders and organizations to join our efforts.

The importance of marriage cannot be overlooked, and our TakeCharge Ambassadors, Keisha Bryant, Kashia Bean, and Chae Lewis, speak to other young, black women about their journey towards marriage and what it has meant for their own families.

It's time to get back to basics and return to our cultural roots - starting with marriage.
