Hi JOHN,

As you know, the dark money flowing into Rhode Island from Kevin McCarthy’s SuperPAC skyrocketed in the last few weeks of our campaign. We were down in every poll and every pundit doubted we could win. But you stood by my side and together we stayed on the air with TV ads and put together a strong ground game to get out the vote. Our hard work paid off and we were victorious!

Unfortunately, we didn’t raise quite enough to keep up with the Republican dark money and we did end up with some final bills to pay.

If everyone receiving this email chipped in just $5, we would be able to pay our final bills and I can continue to focus my energy on lowering the cost of prescription drugs, investing in a clean energy economy, and standing up for fundamental rights like reproductive rights and the right to vote.
