Trump just claimed to be an “environmentalist,” citing a book written by one of his own advisors titled “Donald Trump: An Environmental Hero.” It would be funny if it weren’t so infuriating -- he’s increased oil drilling access in our national parks, stopped states from regulating car emissions, and withdrawn the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord.
Democrats are fighting back, passing environmental protection legislation in the House, including limiting pollutants in our drinking water, reentering the U.S. into the Paris Climate Accord, and reducing diesel emissions in our air.
The futures of our climate, our environment, and ourselves are at stake in 2020 -- we need to know where engaged Democrats stand today:
