With the constitutional right to abortion under threat from a hostile Supreme Court, we mobilized thousands of members across the country to push Congress to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA).
Together, we sent nearly 70,000 messages and drove hundreds of calls to lawmakers demanding action—and the bill eventually passed the House in a vote following the Court's Dobbs decision. We rallied for reproductive freedom all year long, but I'm especially proud of how our members showed up when the Supreme Court first leaked its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization and then made it official a month later.
While the outcome was devastating, we used that momentum to launch into a successful midterm election. Thousands of newly energized members chipped in, volunteered, and showed up to hold extremist politicians accountable. Help power NARAL's rapid response work >

When it came to the midterms, we endorsed more than 180 candidates in state, federal, and local elections. With your help, our volunteers logged more than 4,800 shifts. Together, we knocked on 🏠 332,000 doors, sent over📱1 million GOTV texts, and made ☎️ 850,000+ calls to voters across all 50 states. Because of that work, we won critical races, preserved the Democratic majority in the Senate, and defended reproductive freedom across the country.
