Family, tomorrow is our final FEC deadline of the year, and I hope you’ll give me a minute to explain what that means and why it matters.

The Federal Election Commission requires every campaign to report its finances each quarter of the year, and then, those numbers are made publicly available for anyone to see.

Yes, anyone — meaning Mitch McConnell and his team of Republican strategists and donors — can pick apart Democrats’ fundraising data in order to try and find weaknesses.

That’s why meeting the goals we set for these deadlines is so important. With tomorrow’s FEC deadline being the first one heading into a presidential election and our toughest Senate map in years, we need to make it count and show McConnell and his advisors that we’re going to fight hard to protect our Democratic Senate and the White House.

Look, we’re about $14,908 short of our goal and have until tomorrow night to make up the difference. Can you pitch in before our final FEC deadline of the year?
