John, it has been a remarkable year.

All year long, election forecasters predicted that Republicans would flip multiple Senate seats, Mitch McConnell would retake the majority, and all the progress we’ve worked so hard to achieve would be reversed.

Boy, were they wrong.

Not only did we defend every Senate Democrat against GOP extremists backed by Mitch McConnell’s unprecedented spending, we also flipped Pennsylvania’s seat by electing another upstanding member to join the Senate Bald Caucus, John Fetterman.

You should be proud of what we've accomplished. After all, this team played a major role in our success.

Democrats gained ground in the Senate — in the midterm of a Democratic presidency — for the first time since FDR’s first midterm election in 1934. But we can't become complacent after just one election. Especially as we prepare to defend not just the Senate, but the White House as well.
