You know about the urgency of our climate crisis — scientists say we're running out of time to avoid the worst effects of warming.
Unfortunately, we're also running out of time for our end of year fundraising deadline to fund the climate campaigning that needs to happen for our planet. In fact, we need to raise an additional $72,155 today in order to get back on track before our deadline on Saturday at midnight.
It may seem like a lot, but if enough of us stand together today, I know we can make up the difference and stay on course to fully fund climate campaigning in the new year. That's why I'm asking you now:
If we can raise the additional $72,155 that we need today, we'll be back on our way to building climate campaigns of an unprecedented scale for next year.
We're planning on launching organizing campaigns for the dramatic, large-scale actions that need to be taken to transition to renewable energies.
The fossil fuel industry is watching our every move. They want nothing more than for us to give up so they can continue to profit off the destruction of our planet. They want us to miss today's goal — and to not come close to our end-of-year fundraising goal either.
So together, let's prove them wrong. Let's get back on track, raise the $72,155 we need today, and smash our goal before midnight on Saturday. That starts with making your first contribution now if you can afford to do so.
