Wow, folks, it’s hard to believe that we have less than a week left of 2022. As I reflect on my first term in Congress, I’m filled with gratitude for this team and for how far we’ve come.

My team and I just put together a quick list of some of our achievements over the last two years, and I’d love it if you’d take a look and celebrate these major wins with us:

We passed the American Rescue Plan that provided critical pandemic relief
Passed the bipartisan infrastructure package, including my amendment to create a national framework for electric vehicles and accelerate our path to a clean energy future
Secured the most significant gun safety bill in decades
Lowered prescription drug prices and capped insulin prices for seniors
Secured historic investments to address the climate crisis and overturned the 10-year moratorium on offshore wind leasing
Finally protected same-sex and interracial marriage by federal law
Returned more than $19 million to NC-02 and secured more than $26 million for community projects in Wake County

I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made so far, and I can’t thank you enough for the important role you played in all of this. After all, this was all made possible because of folks like you who spoke up and demanded change. Now, we have to keep going.

There are still a lot of tough fights ahead, so it will take all of us coming together once again to fuel our organizing work, continue fighting for progress in Congress, and prepare to take back the House in 2024. And the final public fundraising deadline of the year this Saturday is one of our first chances to build momentum for the election cycle ahead.
