The Trump administration has continued its campaign against immigrants unabated by the impeachment inquiry. The DACA program, which protects DREAMers from deportation, is before the Supreme Court, and Trump’s lawyers have made it clear that they intend to end the program and deport nearly a million people one way or another.
This drastic step would devastate communities across the country and hurt those who are simply trying to live their lives in the only country they’ve ever known. They are our neighbors, friends, and family members. They are our teachers, our co-workers, and strangers on the street worthy of safe and happy lives.
