‘New Dems’ — a centrist and right-winged group:

The DCCC recruits and backs corporate-backed candidates who will serve the
establishment in Congress and toe the Party line.

This isn’t surprising. That’s why we’re working to find and recruit
working-class community leaders who will fight for issues that match the
scale of the crises we face. The new head of the DCCC is a part of the
centrist ‘New Dems’ wing of the Party, which makes it even more important
that we have the resources to recruit our next slate of candidates to
fight back against corporate interests.

Remember, after 2018 when AOC shocked the establishment, the DCCC enacted
their ‘Blacklist’ policy to try and stop progressive campaigns from
primarying entrenched incumbents. The DCCC has actively tried to hurt our
movement for change.

The DCCC raises money from Wall Street and corporate PACs to recruit
corporate candidates and protect incumbents, while we rely on grassroots
contributions to help elect working-class candidates fighting for
progressive change.

We just launched our 2024 Candidate Recruitment and we need your
support, John,
to reach our fundraising goal and have the resources to continue to do our
work next week.

We can’t let the status quo win. Not with so much on the line in the fight
to pass Medicare for All, win a Green New Deal, and expand our coalition
in Congress.
