Last week, Mayor Joe joined the Indianapolis Department of Public Works and other city leaders to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Shelby St. Bridge -- a $1.1 million investment in our city's infrastructure. This bridge was just one of many projects included in our 2022 capital infrastructure program.

This season alone, our City has invested more than $240 million into new roadways, bridges, pedestrian safety and stormwater infrastructure.

Through budgeting and strategic use of funds like the American Rescue Plan and the Circle City Forward initiative, we've been able to maximize infrastructure impact without increasing taxes on Marion County residents.
