Regardless of faith, I hope that all of us can find meaning in the sense of togetherness, optimism, and joy that this holiday brings.

Friend,

Chag Urim Sameach!

For the next eight nights, Jewish families across our community will be celebrating Hanukkah—the festival of lights—remembering the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem.

In many ways, this holiday is about celebrating the triumph of light over darkness, and hope over apathy. During this time of rising anti-semitism, it is more important than ever that we stand up and act as a light in dark times, even when forces of hate grow stronger.

Regardless of faith, I hope that all of us can find meaning in the sense of togetherness, optimism, and joy that this holiday brings.

Let’s all take this opportunity to find lasting sources of light in unexpected places and share them with those surrounding us. Wishing you a happy, healthy Hanukkah filled with family, fried foods, song, and light.

Warmly,

Andrew
