John, our governor had quite the eventful 2022 — and it was a clear signal of the extremism that he's going to keep pushing in 2023.

Glenn Youngkin, obsessed with raising his national profile, played into the worst of the GOP culture wars and backed some of the most unqualified and dangerous candidates around the country.

Youngkin proposed rolling back school accommodations for transgender students — denying children the basic dignity of their identity. He publicly backed abortion restrictions after Roe v. Wade was overturned. And when he wasn't focused on our Commonwealth, he was endorsing election-deniers like Kari Lake in Arizona and Tudor Dixon in Michigan.

It's never been more clear: we need to rein in Youngkin's power as much as possible. And we can do that if we extend our Democratic State Senate majority and elect leaders like Hala.

We set a mid-month goal this week of $5,000 to give Hala the resources to keep reaching voters in December, but we're still short by $1,820. Will you chip in $10 to help us reach our goal by tomorrow night?

It's the worst-kept secret in Richmond that Youngkin has set his electoral sights higher than our Commonwealth — potentially as soon as 2024.

Youngkin's going to cater to his intended audience of national GOP primary voters. That means we can expect him to double down on his extreme positions and continue to advance policies that endanger Virginians' fundamental rights.

Hala will make sure Youngkin's agenda meets a strong opposition in Richmond, but she can't do it without you, John. So will you help her meet her mid-month goal by donating $10 today?
