Over just a few years, Justice Democrats has recruited and helped elect a strong, diverse, working-class slate of progressives to the U.S. House that includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, and Summer Lee.

But now is not the time to just sit back and relax. We need to elect even more progressive champions to fight for issues that match the scale of the crises we face, such as Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, fighting obscene levels of wealth and income inequality, getting big money out of politics, and more.

But here's the truth, John: It takes tremendous effort and resources to recruit working-class primary challengers and help them win. Justice Democrats just launched their 2024 candidate recruitment efforts, and they need to raise $120,000 in the next 72 hours to take on the establishment in Congress. That’s why I'm asking:

Will you join me in supporting Justice Democrats today with a $3 contribution? Every donation will help recruit more progressive candidates to challenge the political establishment and corporate elite. This is important.

The unfortunate reality is that it takes an incredible amount of money to run campaigns from start to finish, especially for progressive candidates challenging entrenched, corporate-backed incumbents. That's why it's so extraordinary what Justice Democrats has built over the last few years, with people chipping in what they can afford to take on the billionaire class that wants to protect the status quo.

The truth is that we are up against some very powerful special interests that have been at war with the working class for decades. I'm talking about Wall Street, the pharmaceutical industry, the health insurance industry, the fossil fuel industry, the military industrial complex, the private prison industrial complex and large corporations who continue to exploit their employees while they bring in record profits.

Progressive candidates recruited by Justice Democrats in the months ahead will be up against corporate-backed incumbents with unlimited sums of money. And you can bet that right-wing groups like AIPAC will be doing everything they can to stop our movement. AIPAC spent millions of dollars against Nina Turner, Summer Lee, and Jessica Cisneros because they are afraid of strong, progressive women of color who are fighting for the working class.

To find the next class of strong progressive candidates to run for Congress and advance our fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, racial justice, and an economy that works for everyone, Justice Democrats needs your help today.

The Democratic Party must become the party that stands up for the working class of this country. And we can make that happen by electing more progressives who will fight for working people to Congress and transforming the Democratic Party from the inside out.
