My name is Geoff and I’m the Campaigns Director here at Justice Democrats. That means I oversee our whole operation for candidates, from recruitment, to launching their campaign, all the way through Election Day.

Yesterday, we launched our 2024 Candidate Recruitment and you might be wondering what that means! Here’s how it works:

We’re looking at districts across the country and determining which ones will be our targets to find and elect a progressive from the community.

We’ll be working with community leaders and grassroots organizing groups to find and recruit people who are truly dedicated to the districts they would be running to represent.

We take our candidate recruitment very seriously because we know that’s what it will take to transform the Democratic Party.

We’ve had some incredible victories over the last few years, but we’ve had some tough losses too. Justice Democrats and our candidates have faced tens of millions of dollars in outside spending from right-wing super Pacs like AIPAC and we need the resources to elect another slate of candidates in 2024.

What we raise over these next few days will determine our resources for this next year and will impact whether or not we’re able to find, recruit, and elect more leaders like AOC, Summer Lee, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman.
