Lee here.

I ran for Congress to represent the people of PA-12 and won. In less than
a month, I will be making history as the first Black woman ever elected to
Congress from Pennsylvania. I didn’t do it alone; Justice Democrats was by
my side from day one of my campaign.

Together, we built a people-powered movement from the ground up. We
brought people from every corner of the district into our campaign for
racial, economic, and environmental justice. We listened. We mobilized.
And we made history.

Justice Democrats is the real deal. We all know that taking on the
establishment is an uphill battle, but they know what it takes to win. In
a field corrupted by corporate money and special interests, JD fights back
by investing in working-class progressive challengers early and heavily.

Recruitment Fund that will allow them to find and support the next
generation of Justice Democrats. Will you chip in $3 or more

Politics is not pretty. As a working class, progressive Black woman who
didn’t take corporate PAC contributions, a lot of powerful people in the
establishment wanted to keep me out of office.

AIPAC poured millions of dollars into our race, running smear campaigns
and attacking me for being a “bad Democrat” — and then supported my
Republican opponent.

But we did something different — we ran a 100% grassroots campaign with
integrity, putting the people above politics. Without JD’s support, I
wouldn’t be headed to Congress to join the Squad and fight for you.

That’s why it’s so critical that Justice Democrats has the resources they
need to find, recruit, support, and elect new progressives just like me —
who will fight for the future we all deserve.
