Hey John – I wanted to check in quickly.

This week, my team and I called on our grassroots supporters to step up to the challenge and help us meet our mid-month fundraising goal. So many of you answered the call. Thanks to your support, we're so close to reaching our $10,000 goal before the deadline at midnight – but we're not quite there yet.

This will be a long and costly race, and reaching our goals is critical to helping us prepare to face one of a dozen opponents next fall – including a billionaire who will have the luxury of self-funding and practically unlimited spending.

Now that the midterm elections are behind us, we know all eyes are about to be on our race. It's only a matter of time before outside spending floods Kentucky to attack me and undo the progress we've worked so hard for.
