Hey there —

As 2022 comes to an end, I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on my first two years in Congress.

When North Carolinians first elected me to Congress in 2020, I promised that I’d work with anyone and everyone to get things done for our communities — and I’m proud to say that’s exactly what we’ve accomplished.

After I was sworn in, we got right to work to address the COVID-19 pandemic and help make sure everyone got the relief they needed to make it through that challenging time.

Then, we passed bipartisan legislation to modernize our nation’s infrastructure. I’m so proud that this legislation included my amendment to create a national framework for electric vehicles and accelerate our path to a clean energy future.

This year, we passed historic legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, address rising costs, fight climate change, create good-paying jobs, and so much more. And just this week, President Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law — finally protecting the right to marry who you love by federal law.

We’ve made a lot of progress over these last few years, and it’s all been possible because I’ve had an incredible team of supporters just like you in my corner.

Whether you volunteered for the campaign, called your friends and family to make sure they voted, chipped in to support our work, or even just opened one of these emails, your support over the years has made this all possible.

As I’m sure you know, we still have a lot of work ahead of us — and with Republicans taking over the House majority, the work ahead won’t be easy. But I know we have what it takes to keep making the progress the American people are counting on — from restoring reproductive freedom for women across the nation to protecting our fundamental right to vote — but only if we stand in this fight together.

So today, I’m humbly asking you to help fuel our fight for fairness, equality, and progress by making a donation to our campaign. Your support has made the difference time and again for our team, so thanks in advance for anything you can give today.
