Some interesting things have come out regards to the first lawsuit to hit the courts.
Incredibly important: Maricopa just made this up as they went. They did not follow the laws, as the Arizona Legislature wrote them.
They clearly broke the law, and it mattered.
Maybe that's why Katie Hobbs wants to dismiss the suit before evidence is heard!
Also of note: Maricopa used Runbeck to scan their ballots- with NO human observers!
There is a TON of hard evidence of laws being violated in the Maricopa election. That is why the judge in the case actually commented on the voluminous evidence compiled!
It is crucial to understand something important: these lawsuits have a chance only because we tightened up Arizona's election laws in 2021 and 2022.
Without these laws, the suits being brought to challenge Maricopa in 2022 would be difficult.
Obviously, we have more work to do. But this is a TEAM effort.
