But she didn’t know where to turn for help when her autistic twin boys, Josiah and Micah, struggled in their kindergarten classroom. Children’s Law Center has worked with hundreds of children like Josiah and Micah. Help Children's Law Center ensure more kids with special needs access the education they deserve. Ms. Eury met Children’s Law Center attorney Tracy Goodman at an asthma advocacy meeting. When Tracy described the breadth of our legal services, Ms. Eury realized we might be able to help her two younger sons. We helped Josiah and Micah get essential speech and occupational therapy. We lined up additional support in their classrooms and while learning virtually during the pandemic. When they lost stable housing and had to stay with different family members, Children’s Law Center helped Ms. Eury secure transportation so the boys could keep attending the best school for their needs. Kids with special needs deserve to have every possible supporter in their corner. Your gift helps us provide direct assistance for DC students, advocate for city-wide solutions and support parent leaders like Ms. Eury who are steadfast advocates for their families and their communities. Ms. Eury says that working with Children’s Law Center helped her become a more effective advocate. She’s built her parent networks and shares her story so other families will know where they can turn to for help. “With Children’s Law Center,” Ms. Eury said, “I know that my voice and opinion matter. And whatever I do with them, my goal is to help other people and make sure children are protected by the law.” Please help more families like the Eury’s by making a first gift, which will be matched dollar for dollar.* With gratitude, Judith Sandalow Executive Director P.S.
