Earlier this year, a federal court ruled that no new DACA applications will be accepted, but it allowed for renewals to continue being processed.
That means hundreds of thousands of current DACA recipients remain eligible to renew their status. But with the case now heading back to a court packed with anti-immigrant, Republican-appointed judges — which has ruled against DACA before — there are no assurances that will be true for much longer.
That’s why it’s critical that ALL current DACA recipients renew their status as soon as possible.
