First, Mitch McConnell announced that he’s ready to set the rules of Trump’s impeachment trial on a strict party-line vote.

Then, Gerry went on CNN to call this out for what it is: a sham trial with a rigged jury.

The last impeachment trial’s rules were approved unanimously by the full Senate. But McConnell is all-too-eager to sweep Trump’s abuse of power under the rug.
