Can we count on your help pulling off a little surprise, John? It's Kirsten's birthday on Friday, and we're hoping this team will join in on making it extra special.

If there's one thing we know about Kirsten, it's this: She is fiercely passionate about helping women break down barriers and take their rightful place at the decision-making table. That's why she launched Off the Sidelines, which is dedicated to helping proud Democratic women candidates run for Congress and win.

We can't think of anything she'd love more for her birthday than to find out this grassroots team raised $25,000 for Off the Sidelines – all to help elect more incredible Democratic women to Congress next election cycle. Please, will you chip in what you can now?

Please, donate $5 or more to Off the Sidelines now to help elect more progressive, Democratic women to Congress in honor of Kirsten's birthday.

In the face of a GOP-controlled House and a razor-thin Democratic Senate majority, electing more Democratic women isn't just meaningful to Kirsten. It's critical to the issues we care about most. From defending our fundamental reproductive rights to fighting for paid family leave, we need more women's voices in the halls of Congress speaking out for the future we want to see.

So please, if you share Kirsten's commitment to supporting women across the country who are running for office to move our nation forward, please donate $5 or more to Off the Sidelines in honor of her birthday.

Thank you so much for helping us with this birthday surprise. We already know Kirsten will be incredibly grateful.

P.S. We couldn’t resist sharing this photo of Kirsten and her first political mentor — her grandmother, Polly Noonan. Grandma Polly taught Kirsten to work hard and speak up — and that women’s voices belong in politics.
