In the midst of the impeachment hearings, Nancy Pelosi showed the country what real leadership looks like: She, along with Reps. John Lewis and Terri Sewell, passed a landmark voting rights bill, the Voting Rights Advancement Act (VRAA), which would restore voting rights and election protections gutted by the conservatives on the Supreme Court.

BUT Mitch McConnell's waiting to kill the bill in the Senate so he can guarantee Trump's re-election. Trump doesn't want more people to vote. He knows that when people vote, the GOP loses. They'd rather keep as few people voting as possible so they can hold on to power and let their rich donors dictate policy instead of the people.

At When Democrats, we're doing all we can to inform voters about the GOP's nefarious actions and get them to the polls to defeat the GOP. If we're going to have a fair chance at taking back the Senate and the White House in 2020, everyone who is eligible to vote needs the chance to -- and we HAVE to stop the GOP from cheating, purging voter rolls, and discouraging voters.

We need 10,000 engaged Democrats to demand the Senate pass the VRAA and ensure every eligible voter can vote in 2020 -- if you believe we need to stand up to the GOP and protect the right to vote:
