🌹 Workers Defeat Walker! 🌹

This Tuesday, working people across the state voted to reject Herschel Walker and the MAGA Right’s extremist agenda! Thank you to everyone who voted and volunteered to make this happen. We must continue to fight and stand against misogyny, xenophobia, transphobia, and bigotry in all its forms.

 

Now, the US Senate is one vote closer to ending the filibuster, legalizing abortion, and passing the PRO Act! But we can’t rely on Democrats to save us: A better world is only possible through a mass movement of the multiracial working class. That's why DSA is continuing the fight for a democratic society and economy! 🌹

Join Atlanta DSA and Starbucks Workers United December 9, 2pm – 4pm to rally in celebration of the one-year anniversary of the first unionized Starbucks store and all the labor movement has accomplished since then!
 
The location is Peace Amphitheater at the MLK Center, across the street from Ebenezer Baptist Church, 101 Jackson St NE, Atlanta, GA 30312. Wear your DSA shirt to show support and bring a friend!

We’re collecting winter coats and other items to distribute for the colder months! Items needed include: Jackets, Coats, Blankets, Socks, Shoes, PPE (Masks, Hand Sanitizer, Gloves), Hygiene Products (Soap, Tampons, Sanitary Napkins, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Deodorant, Wipes, etc.)
