One of my opponents is heavily funded by Republican donors and megadonors. In fact, about 60% of his donations have come from ardent supporters of Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Mitch McConnell. That’s more than $1 million from Republican donors in just a few months!

The reason is simple -- they see eye to eye with my opponent. And John, that is not a vision I share for Chicago.

With our midnight fundraising deadline coming up, my team and I have set a goal of collecting 500 grassroots contributions so that we can hit our fundraising benchmarks.
