You don't want to miss this. Dear john, We have had another wonderful few weeks serving our constituent bosses in Texas's fourth! Take a look through our newsletter below to see what we've been up to! We also had the honor of hosting our 2022 Congressional Veterans Commendation Award Ceremony on November 10th. Learn more about our recipients and the ceremony below. If you have any questions, or need help with a federal agency, please don't hesitate to contact one of YOUR offices both in district or in Washington. Do you believe the U.S. is prepared to handle natural disasters effectively? Yes Select No Select Fentanyl & the Border Crisis Over the past two years, we have watched Joe Biden's policies destroy the security of our Southern Border. It is estimated that since January of 2021, 4,000,000 people have illegally crossed our Southern Border. Of those who have crossed illegally, 1,350,000 of them have settled in America. What the media is not talking about is the drugs - more specifically, the Fentanyl that is flowing into our country. Fentanyl is an extremely deadly drug: 100 times more potent than morphine. An amount as small as two milligrams is considered to be a lethal dose of Fentanyl. That means that the amount of Fentanyl seized at our Southern Border could kill every American 16 times over. It is clear - the more Fentanyl that is crossing our Southern Border, the higher synthetic opioid drug overdoses go in the United States. The two graphs below should both be trending negatively, rather than continually shooting upwards in a positive direction. Congress MUST bring order to our Southern Border to prevent more Fentanyl related deaths and stop the flow of Fentanyl into our country For Texas and Liberty, Pat Fallon Member of Congress Texas 04 Congressional Veterans Commendation Award Ceremony & Recipients On November 10th, we had the privilege of honoring 17 Veteran heroes from Texas 04 with our Congressional Veterans Commendation Award.
