Just two weeks ago, Boston Children’s Hospital received yet another bomb
threat — the latest in a recent wave of attacks on healthcare institutions
that provide life-saving, gender-affirming care to transgender and
non-binary youth.

Anti-LGBTQ+ violence is on the rise across the country — and these
unconscionable attacks must be taken seriously.

efforts to keep trans youth, healthcare providers, and community members

Extremist online groups have taken to social media to level lies and
unsubstantiated accusations against children’s hospitals, instigating
harassment and threats to providers across the country.

Our trans youth deserve to receive essential, life-saving,
gender-affirming healthcare and medical personnel should be able to
provide it without fear of being attacked.
