Thank You for Supporting WomenHeart

There is a lot of need in the world, and we know the WomenHeart community is filled with people who are generous and passionate about supporting others. So we don’t take it for granted when you chose to donate to WomenHeart on Giving Tuesday. We hope you watched Board Chair Elinor Shin share live on social media why she cares so much about WomenHeart’s work and mission. We want to send a big thanks to all of you for your support – it makes an impact – and for believing in our mission. You made the day a success. Together we are improving the lives of women with or at risk of heart disease while fighting for equity in heart health.

While it may be a difficult subject to broach, WomenHeart’s latest blog offers practical advice for how to raise the issue and what to ask. Having a history of heart disease in your family places you at risk – the more you know, the more you can do to take charge of your own heart health.

She spoke at the High-Level Forum on the Silver Economy hosted by the Global Coalition on Aging about the barriers and enablers of healthy aging that women face. Then later in the month, she spoke at the Global Heart Hub Unite Annual Summit about women and cardiovascular health.
