Haiti: MSF calls for urgent scale-up of cholera outbreak response

Haiti's growing emergency

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is calling for the urgent expansion of the response to the cholera outbreak in Haiti as the number of cases continues to rise at an alarming rate. MSF is one of the few international organizations treating cholera patients and responding to other health needs under extremely difficult conditions. Cholera vaccines and other essential tools must be made available to medical teams and to people in Haiti. The resurgence of cholera in Haiti is a symptom of a wider catastrophe, as people are facing the impacts of political, economic, and security crises.  Read more.
