In less than twelve hours November will come to a close. Until then, we’re working round the clock to raise the funds we need to carry us through the end of the year and into 2023.

Soon, we’ll launch our rigorous candidate recruitment process — and start the search for the next generation of Justice Democrats who we’ll help make history like Cori Bush, AOC, Jamaal Bowman, and Summer Lee.

We set our $30,000 goal for Giving Tuesday with the hopes that we would raise the necessary resources for our work on candidate recruitment, and beyond. Unfortunately, we fell short, leaving us scrambling to make sure we can make up the difference before midnight tonight.

While we work tirelessly to support candidates, we’re a grassroots organization — which means our work is 24/7, 365 days a year. We know that the buildup to the midterm elections was intense, but it’s our job to stay focused on the mission: to build a Congress that represents and works for all of us.

There is no season off for us, because we are 100% committed. As soon as we got Greg Casar and Summer Lee into Congress, we regrouped and started planning for the next cycle.

We’ve extended our deadline to the end of today — but we can’t bring in a dime less than $30,000 or we’ll be at a disadvantage at one of the most important times in our work. But if we hit our goal or even surpass it, we’ll be able to dedicate our attention fully to finding the diverse, dynamic, and committed progressives who could become the next leaders to join the Squad.
