Dear Friend,

As a Grassroots International supporter, you know that we are all about resourcing movements in the fight for global justice. Right now, our goal is to raise $1 million for movements by the end of this year to support urgent grassroots work around the world!

Nowhere is that urgency more apparent than in Palestine, where military attacks, land and water theft, and the bulldozing of ancestral farms result in daily human rights violations. Food, water, and land justice require self-determination. Since our founding, Grassroots International has worked to raise international solidarity with Palestine and maintained long-term partnerships with emancipatory movements that:

  • Support youth organizing
  • Strengthen women’s cooperatives
  • Reclaim land for food production
  • Organize against home demolitions
  • Document and litigate Israeli war crimes
  • Promote mental health as a human right
  • And more!

These spaces and networks of empowerment and healing are crucial to resist apartheid conditions that forcibly disconnect people from land and each other. That’s why we’re mobilizing Giving Tuesday to fortify urgently needed support for grassroots organizations in Palestine and around the world. Can you give today?

It is fitting that this Giving Tuesday also falls on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed annually in recognition that the Palestinian People have yet to exercise their inaliable rights — including their right to self-determination and the right to return to their homes, from which they have been displaced.

From Gaza to the West Bank and beyond, our partners are remaining steadfast in the face of repression and theft. They continually convey to us how the solidarity of individuals coming together is necessary to achieve Palestinian liberation.* That collective strength is made up of #EachOneOfUs, including you, Supporter.

I hope you will join me in observing the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People by making your gift today. Thanks for all you do.

In solidarity,
