 Team, three weeks ago, we celebrated a historic win together. We flipped IL-13 blue for the first time in three decades and made history by electing me as the first woman to serve Central and Southern Illinois in Congress. In a year where Republican super PACs spent millions trying to push down Democrats across the country, we stood strong in our values and focused on our communities. But, our work isn’t over, and the attacks are far from finished. That’s why I’m humbly asking: Will you pitch in $10 or more ahead of tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline?
Voters in Illinois’ 13th District sent a message loud and clear on November 8th: They want a leader who will put working families first and ensure that we invest in an economic recovery that doesn’t leave anyone behind. I’m so thankful that voters instilled their trust in me to deliver these results for them, and I’ve already hit the ground running – attending New Member Orientation and preparing to serve our district in Congress. Republican operatives are watching IL-13 and will stop at nothing to take this seat back.
