John,

We’re heading into the final month of the year, and we’re not slowing down at all.

In fact, we have a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline coming up TOMORROW, and I need your help to reach our goal of raising $10,000 from grassroots contributions. Can I count on you for a $10 donation?

Here’s why these fundraising deadlines are so critical:

I’m up against an opponent who is heavily funded by Republican donors and megadonors.

In fact, about 60% of his donations have come from ardent supporters of Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Mitch McConnell. That’s more than $1 million from Republican donors in just a few months!

We don’t need to match these Republicans dollar for dollar, but if we can build a strong enough grassroots movement, we’ll be able to out-organize them and defeat their right-wing agendas.

Don’t let these megadonors drown us out. Chip in a few dollars right now ahead of tomorrow’s midnight deadline.

Thank you,

Lori Lightfoot

P.S. We officially filed our petition signatures to get on the ballot yesterday! Our team collected signatures from across the city and I've been overwhelmed by all the support. We've got momentum going into the end of the year -- chip in here to help us build on it.
