Hey John,


This week our dynamic duo have been in Parliament. Fun fact: they get way more exercise in Canberra than they do in Tassie, because they're always running down to the Senate floor! Tammy couldn't even make a trip to get her chips and gravy for lunch without being interrupted by the bells.

This week in the Senate I talked about the amazing work Harbro Engineering is doing in Tassie.

If we’re talking about getting Australian manufacturing back on track, we need to back in people like these guys. They make parts for the military, mining and aerospace.

Harbro are leading global innovation right from the heart of Tassie.

Final Countdown

The countdown is on - it’s only 30 days until christmas!! I love decorating the house. It's one of my favourite things to do. I haven’t had a chance to do it yet, but it’s the first thing on the list when I make it home.

I’m also excited to say that my office in Launceston is officially OPEN! 139-143 Hobart Rd, Kings Meadows. Feel free to come in and say hello. My gorgeous staff would be happy to see you.

Politics shouldn't be about the most educated people or people with the most money getting elected.

We need more real people in Canberra who know what it's like to live a real life. To be unemployed, on Centrelink. Who know what it's like to do things tough.

Finish line in sight


One week left of Parliament for the year, and it's going to be a big one. Industrial relations, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and Restoring Territory Rights are all on the agenda. 

There's a lot on our plates, but we'll keep fighting for what's right for Tasmania and people across the country.
