DALLAS, TX – I hope everyone in Texas-24 and across the country had a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving. Living in the greatest nation the world has ever seen, we have so much to be thankful for. While we face unprecedented crises in our economy, at the pump, and at the border, we remain ever grateful for our many freedoms and servicemen and women who protect them.

This week, I released an Op-ed in the Houston Chronicle with the next Majority Leader Steve Scalise on our plan to unleash American energy independence and lower prices at the pump. It reads in part, "House Republicans are ready to turn our bold, conservative agenda into legislative action, and we will use every tool at our disposal to get our country back on the right track." You can read the entire Op-ed here.

Hometown Hero of the Week

Our Texas-24 Hometown Hero of the Week is Don Graves, an Iwo Jima veteran that goes above and beyond bettering our community by teaching children about World War II and ensuring our past is never forgotten.
