Traditionally, this is the time of year when we gather with our families and friends to pause and reflect on that which we are thankful for; serving the autism community has given me that opportunity all year long. It is hard to believe that one year has passed since I joined Autism Speaks.
Every day, I personally witness or hear stories of the strength and resilience of people with autism and their families. Every day, I am reminded of and humbled by the unwavering dedication that you, our supporters, volunteers, staff, and above all, families and individuals we serve, have for our mission work. Every day, I am inspired by your example and fueled by your steadfast commitment to create a more inclusive world where all people with autism can reach their full potential.
So today, like every other day, my deepest gratitude and thanks for all you do. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
