Friends of Cavaleri for Congress,

As Thanksgiving approaches and the sun sets on the 2022 campaign season, I can’t help but lament on the incredible effort put forth by the members of my team over the past year. This includes campaign staffers, volunteers, donors, voters and everyone else in between. Well over 100,000 of our fellow citizens voted for this campaign, and it’s all due to your unparalleled hard work and generosity.

To every one of you that shared your talent, treasure, and gave up precious family time to work on this campaign: I’m truly in your debt.

When Yankees first baseman Lou Gehrig was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given less than six months to live, two weeks later he addressed a sold-out Yankee stadium and told the fans that he “considered himself to be the luckiest man on the face of this earth.” In what seemed like an odd thing to say, he later explained shortly before his death, how blessed he was to have such an amazing wife and circle of friends during his time on earth; and considered this to be life’s true blessing. He kept a grateful heart until the end.

My friends, this is not an ending, it’s a beginning. God brought us together in this moment of time for His purpose. Our goal always has been, and always will be, to protect and defend God’s gift to humanity, which is the United States of America; and with this endeavor we will never relent.

In closing, we wanted to say thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. We are eternally grateful for all of you. We truly are the luckiest people on the face of the earth.
