On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff of the Muslim Community Network, I want to send out a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who showed up for us and supported us last night. Last night was a long time in the making, 20 years to be exact, and the experience of being in the room with so many of our friends, allies, and well-wishers was nothing short of amazing!
It is one of our proudest moments that we have officially launched our capital campaign to acquire a community center in the heart of the global, cultural, and financial capital of the world, New York City. We are building an institution that represents the sentiments of what you John shared, and a center that represents the diversity of our community and advances Muslim thought leadership in the social, political, and cultural discourse of our country.
